January 2026 Call for Nominations

Current CSE PhD and Dept-CSE PhD students

The nomination process is initiated by a letter from an advisor, supported by a letter of recommendation from an additional MIT faculty member and completed when the student nominee provides a statement of cumulative research accomplishments not to exceed four pages, inclusive of figures and references.  All materials should be submitted to Kate Nelson via email (kpnelson@mit.edu).

Sunday February 22nd (EOD)

The prize award includes a $500 payment and certificate. Award winner(s) will be announced during the CCSE reception in the afternoon of Thursday March 12th.
